Beaverton Town Hall Players will be bringing you a 5 piece Flashback , in the very near future. Let me explain. Flashback is a local band that will be offering an evening of great music and dancing. MORE BIG NEWS We are about halfway there to our fall production entitled HALFWAY THERE This is written by Norm Foster and will be directed by Charlotte Empringham. September 18,19,20,25,26,27 Friday evenings will be 7:30 start, doors opening at 7:00 pm and the Matinee Performances will remain at 2pm, doors opening at 1:30. BUT We will be offering a new method of online ticket purchasing from now on ZEFFY. Zeffy is a Canadian version of online ticket sales that offers us some other options as well. There are still some individuals in our community that have not had the “BTHP experience.” 397 Simcoe Street The time has come to remedy this dilemma. If you are also the people who have never attended any of your High School Reunions, then…2 birds, one stone! Our next production is called Old School Living ( In Our Old School), a comedy written very skillfully by Lisa Rawson. It takes place in Snow Water, Pennsylvania where a group of friends attending their 45th reunion, decide to pool funds and turn their high school into conDOS for senior living. “I’ve never heard of that play.” (This could be very true, but attend with an open mind and be prepared to laugh a lot and leave truly uplifted and entertained. Community theatre is about new experiences and exposing yourselves to the unknown and unfamiliar.) Mark your calendars for the dates below and choose the day that suits you best. Sooooooo, we have exciting news about our auditions for “Old School Living” a comedy written by Lisa Rawson. “Who doesn’t want to attend their high school reunion?” In this well written comedy, a group of past students attending their 45th reunion, in their recently vacated high school, decide to turn it into condos for seniors. “Yes and you can only imagine the fun to be had.” There is no end to the laughs and antics. Auditions in the theatre(upper level) Sunday February 16th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm Thursday February 20th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Tuesday February 25th from 6:30pm to 9:00pm Production to take place in early May.
